Celebrate the Emerald Equinox with a lively mix of science and seasonal fun for the whole family! In honor of St. Patrick’s Day and the Spring Equinox, join us for a hands-on activity day featuring build-your-own spectroscopes to explore the science of light and rainbows, create beautiful, pressed flower suncatchers, and other seasonal activities. It’s a festive way to welcome spring through creativity, discovery, and a splash of green!

Please note:

• Activities are open from 10:15am-1pm; stay for as long as you’d like.
• Registered children must be accompanied by a registered adult (solo children not allowed). Everyone participating must register.

Museum Admission: Museum admission is not included with this program. If you would like to visit the Museum before or after the Seasonal Science program, purchase admission at the main desk. Museum Members should stop by the front desk to pick up their FREE Museum admission tickets. If you plan to attend only the program and not visit the Museum, proceed directly to the 2nd floor and show your confirmation email (printed or on your phone).

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your registration, email programs@nhmu.utah.edu with your confirmation/order number, no later than two weeks prior to the program start date/time. You will receive a refund less a 10% fee. Cancellations made less than one week before the program will not receive a refund.
