Partner Camp with Wasatch Community Gardens

Knowing about the food we eat is important, not only for our bodies, but for the environment. Join us for a week of food investigations. Spend mornings at the Natural History Museum, exploring food science and technology from studying yeast while making pretzels, mixing root beer and salad dressing to curdling milk, investigating viscosity and cooking with solar. Each afternoon will find campers at Wasatch Community Gardens, learning about organic gardening, tasting fresh produce, creating garden art and more. Drop campers off at NHMU by 8:30am and pick them up at Wasatch Community Garden’s Grateful Tomato Garden at 4:30pm. Transportation between sites is provided. Note this session runs Monday - Wednesday only due to the July 4th holiday.
