Partner Camp with FRIENDS of Great Salt Lake

This session runs from 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday-Thursday. No camp on Friday.

Join us for an adventurous week with staff from FRIENDS of GSL. From birding in Farmington Bay to swimming with brine shrimp at Antelope Island, each day we will go on an outdoor field trip to explore Great Salt Lake’s unique ecosystem. Along the way, we will practice science and art to learn about migratory birds, water quality, geology, and environmental stewardship. We are scientists, activists, and love being outside.

Drop off and pick up take place at NHMU. Transportation to field trip locations is provided. No camp on Friday.

Important Details:

• Registration Limit: Due to Utah childcare licensing exemptions for out-of-school programs, each camper may only attend a maximum of five weeks of camp.

• Food and Drink: Pack two substantial snacks, a non-refrigerated lunch, and a water bottle daily.

• Drop-Off and Pick-Up: Drop off and pick up takes place at NHMU.

• School Schedule: Summer break start and end dates vary by school district, so please check your school’s calendar before registering.
