Craft Lake City Workshops - Succulent Watercolors

Class Description: Create an eye-catching succulent watercolor artwork at our beginner-friendly workshop with local artist Kara Aina! In this workshop, participants will couple newly learned watercolor techniques with a curated color palette and reference image to create a gorgeous watercolor succulent painting of their own. Watercolor is one of the most colorful, meditative and magical mediums around. It can also be one of the most difficult; but artist and art educator Kara Aina will break down the process of painting with watercolor to create inviting compositions and become even more intrigued with this fascinating medium. Kara combines a mix of traditional and non-traditional techniques as well as several skill building exercises that will help you build confidence in watercolor, loosen up and enjoy the process. All materials will be provided and no experience is necessary.
