Watercolor Illustration Workshop: Saturday

In this workshop we will create a watercolor illustration of our own design choosing from prehistoric plants, dinosaurs, insects, and flying reptiles to flush out our scene. We start with learning some tips I use to simplify complex shapes when drawing and then using watercolor we create a beautiful sky to lay our creatures onto. Illustration is all about telling a story lets create this story together.

This workshop is available to guests 12 years of age and older.

Notes: 
Museum Members receive a 20% discount on workshop tickets, as the workshop fee includes general admission, which is free for Museum Members. 
Workshop check-in will take place at the Museum’s front entrance and is name-based; proof of purchase is not required, though appreciated. Space is limited and no waitlist is available. 
Tickets cannot be purchased onsite, as materials must be secured several weeks in advance. 
For all ages workshops, one adult chaperone is required for any child younger than 10. The adult serving as the chaperone must still purchase an admissions ticket to the museum, and verify their attendance by emailing lhall@nhm.utah.edu. Each workshop ticket is equal to one set of supplies.
